Surround settings

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have 3 ASUS monitors and EVGA GTX 980Ti. I enabled surround and something does not look right. Colors and font look sharp but desktop icons and font on website and docs are very large now. I ran FSX and tried windowed expanded mode and full screen, looks sharps but too big. Playing with zooming did not help. Ezca did not help either. Current resolution in Surround is 5760x1080 shows recommended. If I lower it becomes blurry. I used to have GTX 780 and with settings everything looked OK.

I wonder if this is something to do with W10 pro upgrade.

Thx

Looks like it was W10 scaling issue. It was set to 150% by default. Reducing down to 100 fixed the problem with monitors. Now the issue with FSX full screen mode. Flight deck is too large, cannot zoom out enough.

Solved. Thx

An explanation of how it has been "solved" would have been helpful to others.

For people having this problem, make sure that you have "WideViewAspect=True: in your Fsg.cfg

W10 sets scale 100% by default. I reduced it moving slider all the way to the left towards 0 and everything looks normal now. So it was high scale value in monitor setting.

Thx
