  1. There are different ways to organize audio system. For surround speakers I will need an AV receiver to connect non powered speakers. AV receiver is then connected to via HDMI cable to my 4KTV. For powered speakers I can just connect them to PC directly via analog line. If I want an additional audio channel, then I may need an external USB sound card connected to a amplifier. I had issues to understand how to connect all these audio hardware and a purpose of them.
  2. Greetings I need some help to understand how I can connect 4 speakers to my PC, and I want to separate different sounds like engines sound to 2 rear speakers, and other sounds to 2 front speakers etc. So to achieve this, do I need external sound card(s), or I can just use either a receiver, amps or an audio interface? So this part I still don't get it. I googled that people use different types of audio setups. I don’t want to spend money on devices I don’t need and I don’t understand what they are for. I read about receivers, amps and interface, but it is very confusing. I just need some help to pony me to a right direction. I currently have PC, 4K TV and I use TVs speaker ad a default audio device. Thanks for looking.
  3. I would suggest you to go to Discord and ask FSFO related questions out there. The developer is pretty active there. https://discord.gg/6WSHapSWWh
  4. Are you using latest v3.84? I just read in PMDG forum this version does not work.
  5. I do not have DSR option in my NCP (whatever I have tried to change, DSR is just not there), so I use TAA as well. With 55” 4k TV I have: Anti-Aliasing - TAA Render Scaling 150 V-SYNC ON DX12 However I have different NVC settings. I have crystal clear cockpit and instruments, fps on the ground around 60-75 in PMDG 737 in 3rd party airports like ORD, ZRH, LHR. Fps around 70-85 in the air, everything is smooth. But I have RTX 4090. DLSS does not work for me, instruments are blurry. I have updated DLSS, it helped a bit, but TAA is still much better.
  6. I don’t have a PC monitor. I only have a TV. I installed a driver as usually but I used a custom install option. I only installed a driver. I may need to use clean install. I remember I used to have that option but it disappeared. I was surprised too.
  7. Thank you. I have tired all possible troubleshooting solutions I found in google. The last one I have left is to try to install Studio driver.
  8. As I mentioned above, I do not have DSR option in my NCP. It is just not there. Based on what I have found online, it should be under "NCP under manage 3D-setting - global - right under CUDA GPUs. I do not see it there, that is why I cannot enable DL scaling. I have looked for it everywhere in that location, it is just no there. I did some research, it could be because I have game ready driver, not a studio driver. I am not sure if I have to reinstall the driver to Studio, not to Gaming driver.
  9. I do not have that option in that location. May be because I use my TV as PC monitor in NCP settings. If I change it back to TV in NVC everything looks terrible and max refresh rate is 60.
  10. I do not see DLDSR option in my NCP. I read that I have to change screen resolution down to 60 for it. Based on what I have found, I do not have to do all those steps if I have 4K TV with 144Hz refresh rate and and RTX 4090. I am just upscaling 4k to 4k unless I am missing something. With my current setting in MSFS (TAA, DLSS FG-On, V-SYNC -On, DX 12) I have clear image quality and fps around 70-80 in PMDG and Fenix. The sim is smooth. I am not sure if I really have to anything else. https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/5077247524954640539/
  11. Good day all. Started getting this message by AV, no recent changes to PC. It only pops up when I start FSX:SE. Google did not help much. Thx for looking [/url]
  12. Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did. They are scratching their head. I fear they are trying to turn it towards my system but I argued that. I have 2 other TQs and never has same issue.
  13. Good day all. I am trying to configure throttle quadrant from flightsimpm in PMDG NG and I have discovered that when I move the right ENG lever and Speedbrake lever I see both axes have same letter "Z" and this causing conflict. Throttles go crazy. Tried to do the same in FSUIPC and still no luck, FSUIPC detects same letter Z for both axes. Is there a way to re-assign axis letter or other work around? PS. Does anybody has same TQ V2.2 from flightsimpm? Thanks for looking.
  14. Thanks Kyle. We'll keep an eye on ISA.
  15. That what I thought. NGX has been out for several years already and this issue still exists. I hope one day the solution will be found. Thanks for the reply.
  16. Good day all. I figured this is the old issue. I googled the solution and last topic was dated few years ago and no cure was found. I am still having incorrect times in PROG page, not every flight but every second or third. Looks to me as soon as I start entering CRZ WIND or ISA or wind data in LEG page times in PROG page go crazy. All possible "solutions" were offered in other topics did not work. I wonder if someone figured this out. Thanks for looking. FSX-SE, W10 Pro PS. I changed winds from what ASN calculated to something different into PERF INIT page and it changed times in PROG page to what is supposed to be. I am wondering why wind change makes time change. The time difference was almost 10 hours.
  17. OK Jim, thanks a lot.
  18. Hi Jim. I am a bit late here but I just realized that I missed the part (sorry) where you were saying about a "Switch" which can be used to expand 2GB to 3GB VAS. Can you please clarify what switch is that? Where is it? In Windows somewhere? Is it available in W10 or W7 only? Thank you again.
  19. Thanks for explanation. I have already installed REX lights though but I wonder if I want to try lights fix from the AVSIM library how will I undo REX lights now?
  20. Dave. Dare to ask how did you come up with such conclusion? Looks like REX disagree with it. I asked them if they would take a look into it and they said how was this issue discovered? Thx
  21. Good to know that. I may ask REX what they think about it. Thanks
  22. Fixed. Had to reinstall REX4 lights few more times and it solved the problem. Thx
