how can I sort the posts with newest first,  in descending date order ?

Didn't find the feature in settings.

This is the only way forums are set up.  Newest first and then subsequent posts are in descending order.  The normal sequence of reading posts in forums is the OP writes the topic and, below that, subsequent posts are written.  Viewing what an original poster (OP) stated at the end of a topic first instead at the beginning does not seem appropriate to me.  If you want to see the posts at the end first, then click on the middle button of your Mouse and you will see up and down errors. Now, just pull your Mouse down to the bottom of the page.  If the topic has several pages, you will see the number of pages on the bottom of the topic page.  Just click on the last page.

I understand, that is what I expected.  But what I see is the other way round: the oldest first and on top.

 

Therefore my previous question. What is wrong in my settings ?
