Powermanagement Link status PCIE

Featured Replies

well  i have been tossing arround with a new computer and probably not new for everyone i found that the PCIE link status still was at max power saving eventhough power management was set at max performance.  it added an addition 10 fps with this option set to off.

to be changed in power management options config of windows  the advanced tab

Thanks for posting this Leon, it's a good hint for pre-race PC preparation!

I just checked that setting on my PC and found it was set to moderate power saving.  I've now gone through all my power settings to make sure everything is set for max performance.

Yes, you should have the power setting set to maximum performance or high performance

This should be all you need to do but doesn't hurt to actually verify what those settings do, but making sure everything is set to max and NOT turn off is what you need.
