Hi all

 

Quick question, where can I find detail of the autoland procedures in the manuals; I have looked through both Main and SOP 3 manuals, but can't seem to find anything!

 

There are clearly some differences, as the FO starts the APU during descent, and I'm obviously doing something wrong as he keeps telling me my approach is unstable; though I am following the usual procedures!

 

Any help would be appreciated

Approach unstable:  Is your speed cursor close to VREF?

I had VREF+5 bugged, was maybe 5kts fast?

5 knots isn't too fast.  Are you sure your landing flap matched the fmc landing flap selection?

Pretty sure; will do a couple of approaches when I get a minute and will report back!
