No landing light reflection from cockpit

Featured Replies

Hi,

I cannot seem to get the effect from 737 Immersion that illuminates cloud/fog directly in front of the aircraft when the landing lights are on.

Please see the two pics below, from the spot view I can see the volumetric effect of the light, but when I jump into the cockpit I see nothing in the clouds or fog outside??

For reference I tired the "Fogged In" and "Thunderstorm" weather scenarios, aswell as live weather with ASN.

I'm using REX Soft Cloud textures.

This is in P3D v3.1

Thanks

Hi Gordon,

From the Manual:

Volumetric taxi, turnoff and landing lights can be observed at dusk, night, and dawn when the visibility is lower than 5SM. The effects will be more pronounced when the visibility drops below 3/4 SM. Moreover, these lights are fading in when turned on and fading out when turned off, just like on the real aircraft.

I hope this answers your question!

Keven

Sorted!

Didn't realize it was limited to those particular conditions.

Cheers Kev.
