Hi all. I have 351 gb of high res cities and all of the states. I was wondering if I could cut and paste each high res city into the appropriate state, ie high res Atlanta into state of Georgia. I know it has to be higher in the scenery cfg but though it would just over-right the relevant scenery BGL and save me a ton of space. many thanks, terry

Hi,  this wont work as the FS engine doesn't read BGL files and eliminate duplicate sceneries that cover the same area as it goes. Interestingly, it does do this with terrain mesh, and will default to the mesh file with the highest data resolution.

 

Your best option is to look up this guide which tells you which files to eliminate from MSE 2.0 state sceneries when you have an Ultra-Res scenery in addition for that state (not all combos available but a good number are):
