February 23, 201610 yr Hi guys I currently run a 980ti with an i7 4790k over clocked to 4.7ghz on windows 10 For some reason I cannot run any sort of autogen trees or buildings or increase my texture resolution above far left sliders. If I do for any of these then my gpu rises from the 45-55% range all the way up to 99% and I get major stutters etc I'm not sure what's going on here at all. Happens even with the rest of graphic sliders far left 9800x3d | 64GB DDR5 6000 Ram |MSI Gaming Trio OC 5090 @ 3.0GHZ | X870e Mag Tomahawk | 2x 2TB M.2 | Lian LI Dynamic XL ROG Case | Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle, Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Corsair Nightblade | K95 RGB| | LG 28" 4k, Dell 34" AW3420DW Ultrawide| Windows 10 Pro | MSFS2024 | Custom Water Loop |
February 23, 201610 yr Commercial Member Things you can try: Reset the NVidia profile with the restore apply button in NCP. Turn off all AA functions while testing, then bring back AA after. Set OC to around 4.5GHz With HT On use an Affinity Mask=85 Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
February 25, 201610 yr This could also be from running frames unlimited in the sim. Gpu usage skyrockets with unlimited frames selected. If you can limit your framerate in some way, you'll see your GPU load decrease Andrew F.P. "That's when I realized, I'm not real; God just imagined me." - Eyedea
