September 30, 200520 yr Does anybody know if there is any add on that will display the files from aeroplanner within FS.I am unable to find FS Flightmax.I was thinking of buying some charts, anybody else have any?ThanksPhil Shaw
October 1, 200520 yr Sectionals for US are available with FSM Moving Map. FSMMM also has a bunch of airport charts set up for it. Just search AVSIM for "FSMMM".For approach charts, SIDs, STARs, etc. Jeppesen SimCharts works great.Matt
October 1, 200520 yr For the US, you can download and print all current STARs, DPS, IAPs, and airport charts for free here: http://www.myairplane.com/databases/approach/index.php
October 1, 200520 yr I've been using NOS/GEO charts from Aeroplanner for the entire US (WAC's, Sectionals, TAC's, Hi and Lo IFR enroute) for years now on the FS Flightmax and really enjoy it. You can find FS Flightmax right in the Avsim library, you need to download: fmaxbase10.zip, fmax14.zip, and fsflightmax_keygen.zip and follow their instructions. I'd also recommend downloading: fmaxcfg22.zip for a configuration editor, fmaxhres.zip for a higher resolution terrain imagery, and fmaxbmp2.zip for nicer surround images. It works very well in FS2004 and there are several free downloads of charts available, I found the Aeroplanner charts of higher quality and better for actual use though.
