I saw a post on a forum once, where there was a tutorial how to put a little landing aid on the screen, this was just a little blue dot placed on the windscreen to help you line up for landing.

 

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

In flight or on the runway, click on "Views" then click on "Axis Indicator" and you can then choose one of from 3 marks on the screen.
