What sim are you running?

Did you install to default location. ie Program Files (x86)?

If so, you will have trouble as the app won''t be able to write to those protected folders.

(Even if you are part of the Admin group)

Try running your FSX /P3D as Administrator, right click on you FSX or P3D shortcut and select "Run as Administrator.

(That will elevate your token from Filtered Std. User to full Administrator, if you are in the Admin Group)

Great!

Instead of disabling your AV, I suggest you just create and exclusion in your AV for your FSX folder.

Keep the blue side up!
