New PC build with P3Dv3.2,WHQL 364.51

Recommended Posts

A week went by rebuilding my PC and installing the new SSD drive for P3Dv3.2.

75% done and a new image created (double checking that i only have one active drive in disk management) and it was about time to do a testflight in the PMDG 777 with REX ,ASN etc.

I planned for a CYYZ-Toronto - CYUL -Montreal  - short 1 hour flight and was amazed about the quality of graphics and smoothness.

Also Flytampa CYYZ had some problems dealing with the area and i always had to have scenery complexity down to sparse or off to get fps above 20-25 (at least with FSX)

Now it is performing really well and i had about 25-35fps on the ground with pretty high settings and maxed out complexity.

This was at 23.59Z so darkness was present. In the air i had around 35-65fps towards Montreal.

Guess this new Nvidia driver is not as bad as reported ?

SSD EVO 500GB for P3Dv3.2 (wow 60 seconds for loading into CYYZ)

I think the the bad one I had was .47. Maybe they fixed things in .51, but I for one am not in any hurry to find out!
