Thanks. Raised rivers usually indicate the vector information needs to be updated. I recommend FTX Vectors for any SRTM based mesh.

 

It'll put your rivers back at the right level, and it shouldn't eat up your VAS too much. I use only 1.8 GB VAS total in this area.
