April 7, 201610 yr Hi Dave, First off, amazing job with Pilot2ATC so far. I've tried just about every third party ATC options out there, and this is definitely shaping up to be the best. I've been having an issue with approaches into airports without any STARs available. For instance, I file PHOG-BEACH4-LNY-PHLI. As I depart LNY, I would expect to fly direct PHLI unless ATC clear me to an approach or start giving me vectors. However, in this case ATC assumes that I will fly the ILS 35 with NAPUA transition from LNY. If I fly direct to PHLI, I am told that I am off course and given a heading to fly (towards NAPUA) and then told to resume own navigation. At this point I haven't been told what approach to expect and don't know where to fly. It is not until I have flown past NAPUA and MORKE and am on the approach course that I am cleared to the ILS approach. ATC assigns SIDS/STAR is checked. ATC assigns approaches is checked. ATC gives vectors to IF is checked. Here is my transcript (Note- this was the second time I flew this route and I assumed ATC would expect me to fly the ILS 35 with the NAPUA transition, even though I hadn't been cleared to that approach.) April 7, 201610 yr Commercial Member Hi Tyranc. I will fly this route later today and see what happens. There are still some approach scenarios that need work and this may be one of them. A couple of questions so I can come as close as possible to your experience. 1) Are you running the latest update V200.15? 2) What is your Approach Radius set to? Thanks, Dave
April 7, 201610 yr Commercial Member I found and fixed the problems with this scenario for the next update. Thanks, Dave
