October 11, 200520 yr Looks like it. Bummer. [a href=http://www.planettime.de/sites/gmax/main.php]Here[/a] is a link to gmaxforum, there is a discussion on it in "GMax in General".-Jeremy BurchThe Ozark DogfighterHappy Flying!Pilot-The friction locks are causing the throttle levers to stick.Mechanic- Umm, that's what they're there for...
October 11, 200520 yr Well, as I see it, if you already have a copy, what's the problem? It's not like they can turn off the copy you have and there's a wealth of information and support out on the internet without ever having to use GMAX's support site. I say get it and learn it while you can. MS isn't going to change their reliance on using GMAX generated models for flightsim. They've built too much around it. The current version is stable and robust. I may someday buy 3D Max but I can't see a need for quite some time.Art

It is a simple entry in the Windows Registry, and there has been a "Registration Helper" availble for years that eliminates the hassles with registration. As stated above, as long as the FS Team don't change the .x file input for MakeMDL, GMax will continue to work just fine.Don't anyone panic! ;) Fr.
