April 19, 201610 yr Hello, I have two questions about the as_connect.dll file. What is this file used for?For FSX with ASN installed on the same PC am I supposed to have the as_connect.dll in this folder:F:\FSX\as_srv I do not have the as_connect.dll on my hard drive after installing ASN. So, wondering if I have a good full install of ASN? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

April 19, 201610 yr Commercial Member Hi Vaughan, as_connect.dll is no longer used, it is now as_btstrp.dll only (consolidated). Your installation looks OK but I don't see any log file indicating you may not be running sim "as administrator" or with changed ownership + write access to this location. April 19, 201610 yr Author Damien, "as_connect.dll is no longer used" Thanks for the reply. I will make a not of that in my ASN folder .. thanks. I was initially told to include that file when I sent in logs to ASN Tech ... but I could not find it on my PC ... so initially I figured it must be needed. I do run everything as Admin. FSX and P3D. "Your installation looks OK but I don't see any log file indicating you may not be running sim "as administrator" or with changed ownership + write access to this location." If any of that was not correct I would expect to have problems ... This was not a "just installed" ASN for FSX situation ... I have used ASky for a long time without permissions or other problems. After the CTD error I had not saved the logs because I did not know what to save after a CTD ... now I do know in case it happens again. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
