Hi,

 

Anyone here know why Steam suddenly changed my XPX location to the other default steam games? It wants to redownload the whole thing.

 

I have XPX  set on its own drive ( I: )  but the other steam games are on D: which it tries to redownload and install there.

 

How do I reset the location its in? Cants seem to find it in steam.

Is this not related to the library location in Steam's preferences?

 

I don't have the steam version of X-Plane, but my other games seem to respect this setting. If that fails, you could also try just making a shortcut between the location steam wants to install it to and where your previous install is and see if that works (but do a backup just in case)

Thanks Tony for input. I tried the steam library options, but when  adding the correct drive path where my XPX is, it says the new steam library location must be empty. Shortcut failed as it doesnt see steam as running.  But thanks for trying.
