Buildings and terrain scale... how do you change them

Recommended Posts

Hi,Can anyone explain how to change the scenery scale in FS2004, namely the buildings. What I am concerned with is that when at an altitude of 5000 feet the buildings look as though you are flying at 1000 feet, the scale just seems wrong. Is there a way to change the value and where is it in the FS9.cfg folder. Many thanks,Max

No. It seems to be a "feature" of the default objects. There is a scale factor, but it is compiled into the BGL for each object. That affects all dimensions, and I think the problem is only the height.scott s..

I installed Ultimate Terrain Canada and USA. Things look a little better. Thanks for your reply ScottMax
