So how is the iFly 747 these days?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've started digging into a new heavy metal airplane and the iFly 747 v2 is in the running.  I've read positive reviews out there but, looks pretty silent over here.  How is it?  What do you like and dislike.  And what flightplan formats can it use in the FMC?

I have it and would say it's hands down the best add-on available right now for any platform. People are waiting for the other one, but I got it the moment it came out, and haven't looked back. Simply amazing.

Nothing I dislike!

And I use simbrief for my flight plans. It has an option just for it to use.

Brad.

I use Simbrief too (free) to create flight plans in the iFly 747 v2's format.  Works perfectly.

Tip:  The flight plan download feature is available via the "Download FMS" icon in Simbrief, accessible once you have created your flight plan and then clicked the "OFP" (operational flight plan) button, back up at the top of the main flight planning page.
