May 11, 201610 yr I'm currently reading a book titled, Fate is the Hunter, by Ernest Gann. It is a memoir of his, from his early days of flying DC-2s in the 30s, to flying in the war, then postwar till the 50s. It shows what air transportation was like in the beginning, very interesting stories. Im about halfway through, just got done with a chapter on him and his captain dealing with severe icing, he did an amazing job of telling the story, as he does all the others in the book. Anyway, I just thought some might enjoy it, with the upcoming DC-6 being from a similar era. And also I think anyone who likes aviation, history, and a good read will enjoy this!
