Night darkness without HDR

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Apologies if this is a rookie question, but is there any way to darken the night environment in P3D V3.2 without using HDR?  I don't use HDR because I'm trying to save all the FPS I can.

Thanks very much in advance for any help here.

Try that new freeware Re Shade tool, I use it without HDR and it darkens things a bit at night, still not perfect but if you combine ReShade with adjust your monitor settings I think you could come up with a good compromise.

Thanks for your answer;

I do have that installed, and it's great, but still the ground textures and sky at night are too bright, unfortunately.

I guess there's nothing else to try?  No other adjustments?

Mess around with the actual monitor settings or Nvidia's monitor control settings.
