May 22, 201610 yr I don't understand this. X-Plane is silky smooth but Skymaxx 3.1.2 is showing a negative value for the video ram (-50-200) but GPU load is "only" 50 % (GTX 970 overclocked). This happened after updating to Win 10 in fact. Actually down to -450 now overflying default scenery (+W2XP) between LOWI and EHAM. Before the update I was only just above the limit most of the time. May 23, 201610 yr Not sure what you are asking here... GPU load is refering to the card's processing power and does not depend on it's memory usage. W10 might take a larger share of VRAM for itself or the W10 NVIDIA driver / newer driver handles the memory in a different way. Video cards also use the general system ram in addition to their own physical video ram, that CAN pose a problem (low FPS) but not nescessarily. As long as you don't have significantly lower FPS than before (due to VRAM shortage) I wouldn't care about this at all. Otherwise you should lower your texture resolution setting one notch, restart XP and see how it goes. Flo Flo B.
