May 23, 201610 yr Hi everyone, I am just setting up my new PC and have come across two options that I have never paid attention to which are filtering and anti-aliasing in the FSX graphics tab. I mostly run the NGX and 777 so....... 1. Should I be running filtering with Bilinear, Trilinear or Anisotropic? 2. Should Anti-aliasing be ticked? I have looked in the NGX Introduction manual and cannot see these topics mentioned. Thanks again Greg Greg Marshall Windows 10 x64 | i7-6700K Skylake 4.2 GHz | 16GB DDR4 2133MHz | 750W PSU | GTX 970 4GB | Asus Z170 PRO Gaming Motherboard | H80i V2 CPU Cooler | Cooler Master Silencio 652S Case | Asus 23" Frameless Full HD Monitor | 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD for OS & 2TB Seagate HDD for FSX
May 23, 201610 yr Commercial Member 1. Should I be running filtering with Bilinear, Trilinear or Anisotropic? Depends on your hardware and the level of performance you want. 2. Should Anti-aliasing be ticked? Yes. (Future reference, this is a better question for the FSX General Forum.) Kyle Rodgers

May 24, 201610 yr Commercial Member I'll remember for next time - sorry! No worries - just want to make sure you're going to the right places for the right answers. We have a smart crowd around here, but the other forum would probably have more visibility and recommendations. Kyle Rodgers
