Hi everyone, I am just setting up my new PC and have come across two options that I have never paid attention to which are filtering and anti-aliasing in the FSX graphics tab. I mostly run the NGX and 777 so....... 1. Should I be running filtering with Bilinear, Trilinear or Anisotropic? 2. Should Anti-aliasing be ticked? I have looked in the NGX Introduction manual and cannot see these topics mentioned. Thanks again Greg

Hi everyone, I am going to be ordering a new PC in the next day or two and the big question is should I choose Windows 7 or Windows 10? The PC comes with Windows 10 as standard but I can get Windows 7 instead if I want. I know PMDG only officialy support Windows 7 but what would you say? This will be my PC for at least the next 4 years. Kind regards Greg

Hi Brian, Try and completely uninstall the NGX if it is still showing in the Windows uninstall list and then reinstall it and see if it works and take it from there. Hopefully it works and then you can do that with the other products. You can let me know how you get on. Good luck Greg

Hi Briman, That is really strange that using the REX uninstaller has done this. It sounds like there may be another issue going on there. I would suggest that if the product is still on the Windows uninstall list you remove the product that way and try and reinstall. Has anything else been updated/added/removed from your system lately? FSX Steam Edition is widely debated at the moment and there are plenty of people discussing it if you do an online search. PMDG aircraft are currently in the process of being made compatible with FSX Steam Edition but are not yet compatible at the moment. Keep an eye out on the forum for more information on that! Greg

Hi, Next to the seatbelt sign on the overhead panel there should be a microphone for the cockpit voice recorder. Before SP1 it appeared fine, now it looks like it is missing the cover. Does anyone have this problem or know how it can be solved? I have only installed SP1. I do not have the 300ER yet. Thanks Greg

Tonight after a very long time in the hanger I brought the mighty MD11 out the hanger and I missed it! I just thought I would use it at the 777 replacement until V2 is out. It is still up there in my eyes with the NGX and 777 and I know it wasn't a great seller for PMDG (and no I'm not going to ask for it to be updated because unfortunately that won't be happening and I respect that decision from PMDG) but I just thought I would say I'm still loving it after a while on the ground. Hopefully others will take there's up for a spin! My flight is booked for Bimans DC10 retirement scenic flight at Birmingham and I can't wait to fly on it! Greg

Sure this has been spoke about before, like the armrests, PMDG is more focused on the realism and nuances of the aircraft. If you want opening windows there is Captain Sim, I would stick with the PMDG 777 110% tho! Greg

I believe the engines need to be off and external power or APU running. Greg
