September 14, 201312 yr I am in the 777 and I am wondering if the windows in the cockpit are modeled to move? If not, I would really love to see that be added in a service pack! And by windows, i mean the windows that will open to the outside of the plane. Nick Hesler
September 14, 201312 yr I highly doubt that it will be added. It wasn't in the NGX and it isn't in the 777 given that PMDG is more focused on systems realism. Thanks, Kevin L
September 14, 201312 yr Sure this has been spoke about before, like the armrests, PMDG is more focused on the realism and nuances of the aircraft. If you want opening windows there is Captain Sim, I would stick with the PMDG 777 110% tho! September 14, 201312 yr The Aim of the B777 PMDG product is not to model a Pax cabin or moving headrest/windows/cockpit door but to simulate into details and realism all the systems onboad the 777, with of course some nice animations coming along for the pleasure of any simmer.
September 14, 201312 yr Not for once, during my 5 years flying for Emirates, I've seen a pilot touching the flight deck windows... Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931
September 14, 201312 yr Commercial Member I highly doubt that it will be added. It wasn't in the NGX and it isn't in the 777 given that PMDG is more focused on systems realism. they only focus on the system of aircraft. Greg It actually has nothing to do with this - we'd do it but we're already super close to going over the edge for animations. All those little things you see in the cockpit like the Korry switches etc require animations to do. moving windows would push the VC over the edge most likely.
