June 2, 201610 yr I would like to give my brother a gift of the new DC6. How do I go about doing that? Do I purchase it in his name and send him the link? Does he have to register it himself, etc? I can't use it at present because I fly x-plane10 on a Mac but he uses Windows and since he was a dispatcher when the "6" was active he would enjoy it I'm sure. Thanks Don MacDonald

You could register, buy it, then give him your details so he could download/activate it, but that might run afoul of PMDG policy (even though I'm sure their activation software prevents multiple activations) and could cause some problems if he needs support later on. PMDG doesn't have gift cards unfortunately, so you're probably best off just sending him the money on paypal or with a prepaid credit card.

Hey Don, Unfortunately we don't have a specific system set up to gift products to people, but if you wouldn't mind, send us a support ticket with all of the details of what you're trying to do and one of our guys could probably facilitate it without too much extra effort! Hadn't thought of the prepaid credit card method, perhaps because I've never used one. That would be one way to accomplish the task. If no one from PMDG responds I'll give it some consideration but I'd rather be able to send him a link.
