It can be aggravating after flying for 8 hours to just freeze out of the blue. Try changing your framerate to unlimited. Try adding affinity mask to your fsx.cfg file. And if you have affinity mask try using a setting of 14 no matter your cpu. Are you overclocking? Maybe you need a little higher voltage setting. Usually all of these changes fixes it and I can't point to one specific change but try them all - David Lee
