Do you have a lot of AI traffic. I know that is the cause for me. I use all PAI traffic for airlines and it seems that every airline in the world uses Heathrow as their hub. When I turn down the AI I get much better frame rates.Kevin

I have had the same problem in the past. For me it was the amount of autogen that comes into site, new graphics card seems to have helped (or coincidence). Also I fly online and when there is a lot of traffic there the FPS still hits low figures so I also go with AI traffic being a possible cause. Try turning autogen off altogether and also try AI off to see which makes the difference.Strange thing though is I havent had same problem flying into say KLAX or KJFK.Andrew Brownhttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Thanks for the reply. How does one turn down the AI?This is the only airport so far that I have this problem.Thanks:-wave

Untick it.Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/

Autogen is all the buildings and trees.Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world. Plus it's huge. The combination of many scenery buildings + AI planes really takes some power to run well.

Well don't jump to conclusionsWhat are you flying? From my experience thinks like window reflections in the Level D 767 and the ATR are very significant hits on graphic performance and are dispensible. Also, weather, what clouds and weather sets are you using? To me, weather is a worse hit than AI. Chris Willis provides low frame rate clouds in fswp15.zipLastly, what AI are you using? General opinion seems to be that Aardvark AI aircraft (all Boeings, DC9's, MD80-90's) are the best around, both in terms of looks and performance http://www.ai-aardvark.comAlso FS Painter for Airbus's - will need to search on the library hereEvolve http://www.evolveai.com/index.htm for DC10's HTAI http://htaimodels.com/downloads.html for general aviation

I've tuned down the AI and that seems to help. IFDG MD11.Thanks.:-wave
