June 13, 20169 yr I have the A319 from Project Airbus, a lovely machine, but the spoilers seem to have virtually zero effect on the plane. I've had a look at the cfg file, but I'm unsure what to tweak. Is there a command in there that will help me? BTW, I haven't looked at the default A321 to compare... - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
June 13, 20169 yr Author Never mind, I found something called 'Spoiler Limit' in the Airplane Geometry section. My A319 is at 25, the default A321 is at 60. That might be the problem. - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/

June 13, 20169 yr Author Ha, it works, but it seems to change the angle, setting it at 5000 flips the plane into an instant upside down stall! 80 seems to work for me! - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
June 14, 20169 yr Not sure what the limit is on the real bird, but 80 might be a bit much. And as far as I've recently read, the default PA FDE has a bit too little drag in general. There's a project to enhance the models, FDE and panel to include a FMC, but it might still take some time for an A319 to appear. It's worth keeping an eye on it though. http://freenavdbgroup.com/ 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
