Anyone using Frolov's/Intersky Dash-8?????

Recommended Posts

Hello Gang! Are any of using the Intersky (Oleisky Frolov) Dash-8-300? I remember his Dash-8-300 freeware version for FS-2004 and it was magnificent; I don't doubt that the FS-2004 version is magnificent as well, but at $57.00, it's a little steep in price. Are the sounds still as awesome as his previous version????Please let me know what you think!!!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

There was a post about this aircraft a while back Dennis, probably just after its release. Try a search on this forum for Dash 8 or Fanda, it should turn up the thread.

here is a link to fanda's forum if it helps:http://bathursted.ccnb.nb.ca/fanda/Forum/index.phpyes, the price is a little bit on the high side but it is still the best turboprop around. Pity it doesn't get enough attention here in this forum but c'est la vie - it seems to be a rule with some excelent packages around like VoxATC or King Air and those #^!$%% jets will always be beaten here till death :)Dan

HI DanShe is a beauty but even with 3000hrs on the real Dash i think the ATR is a better package. For the price the ATR has better instruments which the Majestic one does not.The ADI on the Majestic version is not accurate looking and difficult to fly accurately. The wings on the ADI are far to thick and looke identicval to the freeware version. In fact my major reason for not buying it is the freeware one was so good it would only be a small step up apart from FDE improvements etc.It has amazing systems reality however and better than pretty much every other release i have seen.If you are after systems modelling it is great and the Dash is one system oriented aircraft. But as an overall package i prefer the ATR for simming.Great model, great panel, amazing FDE and great system detail for a very good price at half the majestics.Aint competition a wonderful thing.Darren
