Somehow my X-Plane 10 steam edition became corrupted with the error as shown below. I've deleted the DLC and reinstalled (16gig and 12 hours later) but I'm still getting the same error. Really appreciate any help for a fix.

Remove the AussiePak5 scenery, it seems to be the one causing you problems.

Just a hint I use Macrium Reflect (they have a free version) to create a backup of my scenery once a week and it takes about 15 minutes to restore (300GB scenery folder) should I have problems. Of course you can use any other kind of backup software you wish. It won't help you now but maybe next time should it occur again.

Tony...Thanks for the reply, unfortunately removing the Aussie 5 didn't work. I had to completely remove XP10 and all the leftover files this time, then install via steam download(another 16 hours).

 

Glenn..Yes I'm definitely going to make a backup of my working copy - I know I will need it in the future.
