FSX SE Simconnect

Featured Replies

Good work, SimConnect should be second nature to you now! :)

Regular installation of FSX-SE in SDK:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib"

Thanks Steve, I was hoping that would fix this problem I am having, but no luck.

I hear you, could be just a setting so it knows to break when it's no longer seeing the server running. I hope they can sort it out on the ASN forum for you soon.

Hi Steve,

Finally figured it out.  Active Sky Next wants you to remove Shader files in ShadersHLSL\misc  I backed them up.  As soon as I did that I had the problem.  So what I did is deleted those files  ASN was happy, Then I copied or restored them back to hadersHLSL\misc, and then FSX SE was happy.  When I launched ASN the next time, it did not prompt me and everything is now working as expected.

The weather modeling in ASN is fantastic!

Thanks again for your help!
