I just got back on FSX after being away for about 6 months. i did a full reinstall, however my steam overlay wont come up while im playing FSX. the overlay comes up fine for every other game except FSX.  Hopefully someone has a solution or some ideas because I really like the steam overlay for taking screenshots and browsing the internet on long flights.

Try running FSX-SE is Windowed mode (ALT + ENTER). I expect the browser windows etc Steam use are only shown in non-full screen mode.

Just for Poop's and Giggles, I fired up FSX, and then tried to Boot FSX SE, with FSX already running, I got a Nag Window, "Flight Simulator is already Running", Looks like they are trying to use the same work space ? I guess they are the same Program, except for the Steam Interface ? - Johnman B)

windowed mode dosent work either. the real problem is that the gameoverlayui.exe wont start with fsx SE. it starts with every other game

thanks for the thoughts, but i dont fly a boxed copy of fsx anymore...just FSX SE.
