windowed mode dosent work either. the real problem is that the gameoverlayui.exe wont start with fsx SE. it starts with every other game thanks for the thoughts, but i dont fly a boxed copy of fsx anymore...just FSX SE.

I completed a CATIII landing yesterday, however after releasing reverse thrust/autobrakes and turning off the runway, the autopilot disconnect master alarm went off, so i pushed the master alarm to turn it off, but the warning sirens would not stop and AP disonnect wouldnt leave from the EICAS. what did i do wrong? EDIT: solved. for anyone that might have the same problem, you just have to press the autopilot disconnect button on the yoke twice.

I just got back on FSX after being away for about 6 months. i did a full reinstall, however my steam overlay wont come up while im playing FSX. the overlay comes up fine for every other game except FSX. Hopefully someone has a solution or some ideas because I really like the steam overlay for taking screenshots and browsing the internet on long flights.

yes im sorry i didnt mean disconnect the autothrottle. so what youre saying is adjust the speed accordingly. wow, that was probably what i was missing! lol

so correct me if im wrong but, if the speed is set wrong, the plane wont land? that might be my mistake-leaving autothrottle on and not manually setting it in the MCP.

OH! i thought it was 1108. thanks for that info. autothrottle problem? do you mean it has to be OFF autothrottle and manually set? what is fail op/fail pass?

Hey guys :) I just joined here and hopefully you guys can help me with this slight issue im having. ive followed the tutorial down to the last word, and do what it tells me, but no matter what i cannot get the plane to completely autoland. it will come down to the runway and hover over it but it will not touch down. ive got the localizer set, CMD A and CMD B set, APP set, ils frequency set, HGS set. This is an amazing plane but this is the only thing that i just cannot get ahold of. any help is much appreciated. oh another thing, it says my navdata is outdated so i checked and i have the latest AIRAC, 1108.
