Installations cannot find FS9.1 exe file

Featured Replies

Your graphics card needs to be set up properly - this is a common problem which is known as "screen tearing". If you google "FS9 screen tearing" you'll find all the information you need.

So, just to double check...

You did install FS9 to C:\ instead of it's default directory?

You did run it immediatly - no need to play yet!

You did install the 9.1 update

You did run it- no need to play yet!

You did install, or copy & paste the fs9.exe patch for the 9.1 update?

You did run the sim again?- no need to play yet!

You did turn the UAC setting right down

You did right click on the desktop icon & ran as ADMIN?

You did  hit Ctrl-Enter to rin the sim in windows mode?

Now you can start playing & loading stuff.

Hope it all works.

Those are the steps I took with my FS9 installs, & I have been very successful.

I must admit, in all my years, I have never used the 4g patch, & cannot get an answer if it really works.

I've checked my memory usage, I have 4megs RAM (Windows 10, Laptop i5) & all is good.
