March 28, 20179 yr So, just to double check... You did install FS9 to C:\ instead of it's default directory? You did run it immediatly - no need to play yet! You did install the 9.1 update You did run it- no need to play yet! You did install, or copy & paste the fs9.exe patch for the 9.1 update? You did run the sim again?- no need to play yet! You did turn the UAC setting right down You did right click on the desktop icon & ran as ADMIN? You did hit Ctrl-Enter to rin the sim in windows mode? Now you can start playing & loading stuff. Hope it all works. Those are the steps I took with my FS9 installs, & I have been very successful. I must admit, in all my years, I have never used the 4g patch, & cannot get an answer if it really works. I've checked my memory usage, I have 4megs RAM (Windows 10, Laptop i5) & all is good.
