And I'm still trying to find out what happened to the much advertised sloped runway at ORBX ENNK Narvik, see my post here:

http://www.avsim.com/topic/493340-orbx-ennk-narvik-where-is-the-sloped-runway/

How can John Venema announce this as a feature and of late I've only seen a flat runway in screenshots here?

Does anyone know what happened?

It's not like Vector is some horrible product that does nothing. It has accurate vector data for the entire world.

It may be a good product. That's not the point. I already feel like my performance suffers with add-ons and I hear a lot about vector killing frames. Not to mention I shouldn't have to spend 40+ more dollars on something I really don't want. It looks fine with the FTX global and LC in areas where the problems don't exist.

I do not have vector installed no. I was under the impression that it wasn't required.

Chris  may not your issue  since  just read another user  had  issues  with a  airport in na   and  the  he  came  back with a simple  solution is  that in his  scenery  folder in fsx  somehow  the na  box  was unticked lol  so he  ticked  the  box  and  now  things  are back to normal for  him

That's not it.  It's apparently the parks tiles showing through and without vector you can't get rid of it.
