If I use in FS9 the option to change night into day this doesn't work. It looks like it's getting overruled and it's getting changed into night again.

Most of the time I fly at night so it could be that FS is using the real time of  the system .

It's rather irritating because I can only fly in the dark .

You can force real time/system time in Active Sky, for instance. Check any weather program you are running.
