I have been using FSX for many years and have not ran into this problem until upgrading to Windows 10. After I would uninstall the game for some reason I started to get the error 1722 code. I googled and found many posts sending me to this tool posted by Microsoft. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/928080 I used this to reset the licensing and after I could easily download FSX. I recently reset my computer and tried downloading FSX but it gave me the error again. I went to the site to download the tool but that does not work for some reason now. If anyone knows how to get passed this error 1722 code in another way it would be very helpful. Thank you.

Where can you download FSX?  There is no download for FSX.

Make sure you followed the directions for uninstalling in the following document - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx.  Once uninstalled, then you should run a registry cleaner like CCleaner.  Restart Windows and then try reinstalling.
