I cannot find a link to this update. Where do I go or do I have to purchase it again to get Version 3?

Thank you. Unfortunately I am unable to get you .msi file to run on Windows 10 Pro 1607 "anniversary update." I tried both double clicking the installer, right click and install and even the registry hack to  "install as administrator." I ran the fix tool for .msi files and even tried another .msi file which worked just fine.

Nothing, happens. The circle spins for a few seconds and then nothing.

Are there any errors in the Windows logs under control panel?

No errors in reliability history.

How about event viewer?

 

Run control panel app

 

System and Security then View Event logs under Administrative Tools

then when it launches select Application from under Windows Logs on LHS.

Lots of Security-SSP Information, a LoadPerf Information and ICCS Information.

Nothing I can find that has to do with MS Installer

is the msi on a removable disk? Try copying it to a different location and running it there.

 

Could it be your antivirus that is blocking it?

 No the installer is on my HD and I have already tried disabling my antivirus. 

 

 This is weird and I have tried a half dozen other .msi files and all launch their installer correctly. I guess I'll be sticking with version 2.9.

I provided Ken with a hand crafted zip update which has solved the issue.   No-one else has reported an issue so it seems to be a very specific issue.
