Anyone try this new bizjet?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for your report - yes it looks similar to the FSW LJ35 (which I don't own), and looks a little better than the LH LJ24 (which I do own)

Hopefully I'll have some time tonight for some flying!

Looking odd enough to never think on getting it. LOL

AP coupled ILS works well. No issues to report.

I think it looks beautiful.  I bought it and will try it out soon.

Xtreme Prototypes have been around for a long time. I've been seeing their X15 advertised a lot, but this looks like the first serious business jet that they have released.

Well I just finished the last two hours of manual reading, checklists from cold and dark to some manuevering and a climb to FL450.  I also added the GTN750 into the panel - it looks pretty good I'd say.

I'm pleased to say this is a superb aircraft.  I know a lot of us want glass (I do!!) but for a analogue aircraft, this is the bizjet to own guys.  It's not insanely fast, but with a MMO of .82 it's pretty zippy.  I was able to get around 470 KTAS at FL450 - with a nice tailwind, GS around 510 KTS.  That's great!  The operation, handling, mouse VC interaction, sounds, visuals, systems - it's all there.  It's not PMDG (not many are), but at the price point - it is FAR FAR better than other eye candy companies.  Expect to see a review with pics in the screenshot forum soon.

I really really enjoyed flying this thing tonight.  And yes, the GTN will provide vertical guidance to the AFCS (AP) during a GPS approach with LPV minimums!

EDIT EDIT:  Ok I've got my shots up and a more specific mini review if you will... head over to the screen shot forum
