Thanks for the info!

As for flight planning and ATC that won't be an issue in my case since I do all my flying online on VATSIM and therefore have no interest in built-in ATC. As for flight planning I'm using PFPX/SimBrief and Navigraph charts so not really related to the sim platform of use.

As for the weather I learned that HiFi is working on an AS version for XP so that is something to look forward to!

Looking at everything going for XP and how the interest has grown quite a bit the last couple of years both among users and developers I personally think XP will be a platform to count on going forward although we're not quite there yet. With all the great things not found in the alternatives I certainly hope that will be the case!
