I am having an issue installing the TBM 850 in FSX Steam Edition. I get an error indicating that it can't find C:\MyMachine\Users\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE\dll.xml

 

There is no FSX-SE folder under AppData\Roaming\Microsoft  ONLY the FSX folder AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX.  I think the problem is with the A/C  installation looking for the wrong path (AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE)for the dll.xml.

 

Any Ideas?

Can you ignore the error?

 

The TBM works just fine without any dll.xml entry.

OK what I did is create a FSX-SE folder and copied the dll.xml file to that folder and it installed without and errors.

 

However, the A/C has no Aircraft ID call sign, (it comes up with a , and no Aircraft ID in ATC) and no paint on the plane, it is just plain vanilla white.

 

Any ideas?

OK the callsign was missing from the aircraft.cfg file.  I put the AC Ident line in FlightSim.0 section and it works fine.

 

I still think the aircraft needs paint.  It is vanilla white!  Is there anyway to apply paint and tail number to the A/C?

 

So any ideas?
