Boy-oh-boy there's some bizarrely beautiful country out there.   Fine series.  I seem to recall that once upon a time you posted shots of the "Eye of Africa", that was the all time topper IMHO though.

Thanks very much....Yes it's also called the Richat Structure and it's igneous rock at the center. It is actually two concentric rhyolitic hydrothermals...ground water contacting magma like Yellowstone...Mauritania
