September 29, 20169 yr I notice that Just Flight have now released their new One-Eleven, which is available at an introductory offer price of £19.99/€24.95/$29.99 until October 10th. As screenshots and description look good, I'm very tempted by this classic jet, but just slightly reticent as I have found some Just Flight products in the past to be of variable quality, although from various reviews of newer products I think they may be moving in the right direction now from a quality viewpoint. September 30, 20169 yr Author The Friendship is of excellent quality, as is the Dove, so I'm hoping the 1-11 will be equally good... Cheers Keith I agree regarding the Friendship and Dove but, although I have bought these and quite a few of their other products, I have been slightly disappointed with some of them such as the Viscount and Constellation. I did actually give into the temptation and bought the One-Eleven in the hope that Just Flight are moving in the right direction with their products and I have not been disappointed! Although it is not PMDG quality (nor PMDG price!!), I had some short flights in it last night and I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. I didn't bother with the autopilot at this stage but after a couple of circuits, manually flew to another airport using just VOR/DME for navigation and made an ILS landing. The flight dynamics seem pretty realistic for a jet of its era and all the systems I used for this flight seemed to function satisfactorily apart from being unable to arm the spoilers for landing. I have to admit however that I did not read the manual before flying it, so the spoiler issue may be down to me! The modelling of the VC is very good but in terms of its appearance it just falls slightly short of providing a sensation of total immersion achieved by some developers which may be down to the textures. The external model is reasonably accurate but my only small criticism is that the leading edges of the engine nacelles are a little too thick. The textures of the external model are, like many JF aircraft, just a little too bright in my opinion. However, leaving these relatively minor issues aside, this is an airliner which I think I am going to continue to enjoy quite a lot and it is a great bargain at the introductory price! Kudos to Just Flight for producing it. Bill
