It can happen occasionally when FO thinks the runway you have spoken doesn't exist at that particular airport. Normally, the system allows for a 10 degree discrepancy. Let's say runway 27 becomes 28 or 26 and you say either one. FO should take it. But if you say "runway in use 25" he'll just ignore it. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
