FO won't stop asking for active runway

Featured Replies

No matter what I say:

Departure runway is X

Runway X

X

Landing on X

Nothing seems to stop him from repeatedly asking "do you have the active runway."  If I respond with, for example, "runway 8", he will repeat "ok, runway 8" but this doesn't stop him from asking for the active runway again repeatedly, even after I land.

Is there a setting to disable this question, or is there something specific I should be doing that I'm not doing?

Thanks.

Gary

It can happen occasionally when FO thinks the runway you have spoken doesn't exist at that particular airport.

Normally, the system allows for a 10 degree discrepancy.

Let's say runway 27 becomes 28 or 26 and you say either one. FO should take it. But if you say "runway in use 25" he'll just ignore it.

It does the same thing on a number of airports.  Recent examples are 08 at PAJN and 28L at KSFO.  Is there a specific phrase that I need to speak, at departure and arrival?  Otherwise is there a setting where he won't ask anymore?

We have identified and fixed something that may have caused this. Please update to the latest V2.6.8. Thanks

Sorry, I didn't say earlier, but I'm using the x-plane version.  Is there an update for that as well?  Thanks.
