AppCrashView report interpretation

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I am experiencing a crash virtually everytime I fly these days. Had another one tonight.

I Have produced a couple of reports from AppCrashView which are attached. I do not have a clue what they mean and was wondering if you could glean any info from it as to what might be causing the crashes.

Sometimes the computer says I have run out of memory and other times it just crashes to desktop. VAS memory is not an issue as I have a VAS monitor going when I fly.

Regards

For the above crash report, you received a Microsoft.net 2.0 crash indicating FTX Central 2 is not installed properly.  Did you have UAC (User Access Controls) disabled and any anti-virus and/or anti-malware program disabled when you installed FTX Central?  Do you have Microsoft.net 4.5 installed?  It is required to be installed in order for FTX Central 2 to run (in product description).

The AVSIM CTD Guide provides guidance for fixing all crashes or freezes.  See link to the guide in my signature.  Look at the section beginning on page 10.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jim
