  1. Not sure if this has been posted in the past but can anyone recommend a good flight recording program for P3s v3.3. I have always used the excellent FSRecorder from Avsim library when I was on the FS9 and later the FSX platform and it was brilliant and negligible Frame hit as it only recorded the flight and instrument controls on the flight. I have tried it on P3d v3.3 but without success and the default recorder in P3d is absolutely useless as I only get blank screens and the flight controls (flaps, ailerons etc) do nothing. Regards Dermot
  2. Thanks for the info. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I had already unzipped the files but I have since solved the problem. When it asks for the next disk you simply click on one of the other LC files (they are not necessarily in order) until it gets the correct one that it wants and then continues with it's install. Repeat this until they are all completed. Regards Dermot
  3. Hi guys Been trying to re-install Orbx LC Europe but it keeps asking me to insert disk 2 which I do not have as it was a download. Had this first time round as well but cannot remember how I got round it. Regards Dermot
  4. I agree entirely. I have been using FS9 since it came out and invested a lot of time and money in it over the years. I held out switching to FSX originally for stability reasons as well as a lack of new FSX software. Was waiting to see how MSFlight would shape up and when it bombed I switched to X-Plane 10. I hated it and decided that my future lay with FSX. I still sometimes use FS9 as I am slowly building FSX and learning all about FSUIPC but am glad I switched and really appreciate how similar it is to FS9. Also I have been able to load a lot of payware software that I bought for FS9 as most of the later ones released both versions on the same disk or download.. Dermot
  5. Hi there I changed my FS9 from windows XP to 64 bit Windows 7 about 18 months ago. i had no major problems. I simply copied my FS9 to an external hard drive and then copied back to my new Windows7 computer. I did have to run a registry fix program such as Registry Mechanic as many of the registry entries will wrong. Also make sure you run everything as administrator until it is bedded in. Adding new scenery to FS9 is also different but I found the new way quite easily and there are forum topics here which cover this. Cheers Dermot
  6. Very sad news indeed. I have exchanged many e-mails with OPA where he helped me with problems on my Sim. Such a kind and helpful man that I felt I almost knew him personally. He will be sadly missed by all the flightsim community and his Tips and Tricks series are still read by many. RIP OPA and sincere condolences to his family. Dermot Hallahan UK
