December 14, 20169 yr Just read somewhere that the new update of Vpilot 2.0.11 enables IVAO mtl as custom rules set. Is it true :=)?Drago
December 14, 20169 yr If you have an existing VMR file (created worth eg VMRGenerator) that works already with the IVAO model set it should continue to work as VMR files take precedence over the automatic model matching. You use it at your own risk though because IVAO's lawyers may come after you if you post a screenshot or a video that shows you using their models on VATSIM. The automatic scan for models will not detect the IVAO models however, because IVAO threw their toys out of the pram in one of the more ridiculous scenes in flight simulation history. Simon Kelsey

MayI ask what happened?
December 14, 20169 yr http://www.avsim.com/topic/479202-matt-davis-striked-by-ivao/ IVAO went round issuing legal threats and YouTube copyright strikes against people they found using the MTL models whilst connected to VATSIM. Matt Davies was the most visible, but by no means the only one to be the subject of their attentions (as you will see as the thread above progresses). I am not aware of their stance on the matter having changed. Simon Kelsey
