It's rather clear that Romain is referring to FSX - as a program - automatically assigning axes to your hardware. This function, which I will agree, is very stupid. I've had my USB PTT button automatically trigger the brakes because FSX decided it would be prudent to tie the brakes to the button. I'm very sorry if I offended you in any way, it was not my intention! Your message was clear, and I don't think one was necessary. Instead of going from 0 to 100 because you mis-read something, perhaps in the future, you may want to ask for clarification.
