December 16, 20169 yr I would like to get the opinions of anyone in the know, on the best way to install the new PMDG B747v3. Would it be best to totally uninstall the original 747v1 and all its updates, or just install the new version, and have both installed together. I don't want the two to interfere with each other, if that is a possibility. I probably won't be going back to the original B747v1 once I have the new version installed. What do you think? December 16, 20169 yr It will be a completely new plane as if they made a 787 so you can just install as new and they two can co-exist side by side. Now of course, this is a guess on my part, I have nothing to do with PMDG other than being a customer. Mark CYYZ
December 16, 20169 yr Commercial Member What do you think? It won't interfere or interact at all with the older version. We actually had a quick discussion about it a few months ago because we wanted to be sure that the folder names, aircraft.cfg titles, etc. didn't conflict. Kyle Rodgers
